I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD. As a child, I was always entertaining myself and others, and was often considered the “life of the party.” I knew no strangers; in fact, people frequently told me (and still do, actually) that meeting me was more like reconnecting with an old friend. Needless to say, it was a no-brainer for me to major in public relations when I went to college.

After graduating from Clark Atlanta University, I imagined myself living large as a high-powered publicist, but coming out of college right after 9/11, no one was hiring and my dream was deferred.

Eventually, I landed a job in media sales liaising between advertising agencies and radio stations. Was the coin good? YES! Did the job keep me motivated? NO! The work just wasn’t challenging enough and I knew there was so much more I had to offer, professionally and personally.

One day, a friend randomly suggested that I get into real estate. It was a foreign idea to me, but she knew someone who was hiring and making strides in the areas of flipping properties and condo conversions. It sounded interesting, so I threw caution to the wind and decided to take a chance.

I was only 23 at the time, and though I started at the bottom as an assistant, my work ethic afforded me quick transitions and promotions to cross-collateralize properties with attorneys and lenders… and I wasn’t even licensed! Before I knew it, I had an AMEX business card, a 401K, a great paycheck and a new lease on life.

All was gravy for about two to three years. I went on to earn my license and was thriving in my work, but then something terrible happened… the real estate market hit rock bottom, and as an industry, we went way past recession. The downward spiral took its toll on the best of the best, but I wasn’t having it!

When things went awry, instead of wallowing in a funk like most of my colleagues during that time, I set my intention to wake up and attack each day by finding new, creative ways to get the job done. So, I started making videos to highlight what was still right about real estate and it ended up being my saving grace!


My videos spread like wildfire. They not only helped me build a deeper connection with my existing clients, they also helped me attract new ones. Day in and day out, I began to receive phone calls with interested buyers, domestic and abroad, and often found myself selling four to five houses at one time!






I found great success during a time of great defeat, and it was in that season of triumph that I learned real estate was my passion.

Today, I stand proudly as one of Atlanta’s most respected and recognized top-selling brokers whose success has flourished into an international client base that expands through Europe, South America, Israel, Canada and Australia.

Formerly the Senior Vice President and Managing Broker for the tech-based Village Realty at Atlanta Tech Village - the 4th largest tech startup hub in the United States – I now hold position as the Managing Broker for Engel & Völkers Atlanta, where I continue to exercise my influence as a global real estate advisor.

I’ve been featured on the cover of Atlanta Agent, covered in Forbes, Black Enterprise, the Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC), Atlanta Business Chronicle, Atlanta Daily World and Simply Buckhead; heard on NPR and WAOK; seen on CBS-46 and 11Alive's Atlanta & Company; and have been showcased on episodes of HGTV's House Hunters.

What’s more, I serve as VP on the Board of Directors for the Atlanta Realtors Association, President Elect for the Atlanta chapter of the FIABCI - International Real Estate Federation and I’m a member of the Forbes Real Estate Council.
